New Summer Feeding Program Sites Announced

Autauga County Schools is participating in this year’s rural Summer Feeding Program as a part of the USDA’s Seamless Summer Option (SSO) program. This federally funded, state-administered program provides free meals to any families with children 18 years of age or younger living in the home. Participants do not have to reside in the district or be enrolled in the Autauga County Schools’ system, but everyone is required to register to participate.

Please complete one registration per child for each week that you plan to participate. Once you complete the registration form, a QR code for each registration will be sent to the email address you provided. The QR codes are required to pick up meals, so please save it somewhere that’s easily accessible. You may screenshot multiple QR codes to speed up the check-in process at the program locations.

Food will be distributed every week, according to the schedule below, until all meals have been given out for that week - both sites operate on a first-come-first serve basis. Free meals are five days of breakfast and lunch options, including fresh fruit, vegetables, and milk. Once you arrive on-site, CNP personnel and directional signage will provide additional instructions to ensure a quick and efficient process.
